Thanks to REALTOR® advocacy, a new law was passed in Virginia, effective July 1, 2024, prohibiting localities from establishing or enforcing mandatory disclosure requirements in real estate transactions. Thus, if you have a transaction in Loudoun County, you are no longer required to provide the AIOD disclosure as of July 1, 2024. NVAR will be sunsetting Form K1402 to reflect the new law.
