As a new salesperson, you are required to complete 30 hours of Post-Licensing classes within one year of obtaining your license. The Required topics are:

Contract Writing

6 Hrs. PL

This course will help you understand contract information, interpretation, enforcement and application in the Northern Virginia market.

Current Industry Issues and Trends

2 Hrs. PL

Real estate is an evolving market with changing guidelines. Stay up-to-date on social media and online advertising regulations, “coming soon” properties, state and local sign laws, and more.

Escrows & Protecting Other People's Money

3 Hrs. PL

Keep your client’s money safe. This course will teach you how to stay in compliance with the Virginia Real Estate Board’s escrow rules and regulations.

Risk Management

3 Hrs. PL

Knowledge is key in preventing problems for you and your client. This course will take an in-depth look at several laws you should know to reduce risk in your business.

Financing Options for Residential, Commercial and Land

2 Hrs. PL

This course will educate Realtors® about the available financing alternatives and resources that best suit their clients' residential, commercial and land transactions. 

Fair Housing

2 Hrs. PL

Did you know it has been 50 years since the passing of the Fair Housing Act? In this course, you will learn how the law applies at the state and federal level and use case studies to identify violations
