Commercial Resources

Stay up-to-date with commercial development in the region and learn how it affects residential real estate.

Take Your Real Estate Knowledge Further

Commercial real estate is property that is used exclusively for business purposes and that is leased out to provide a workspace rather than a living space. Ranging from a single gas station to a huge shopping center, commercial real estate includes retailers of all kinds, office space, hotels, strip malls, restaurants, and convenience stores.1

NVAR and its members stay at the forefront of commercial and economic development in the region. Each issue of NVAR's RE+View Magazine features a commercial real estate article, and NVAR also offers commercial education classes and events to take your real estate knowledge further.

Every other year, NVAR puts on a Leasing Summit that brings together leasing and commercial experts in the region (check out videos from the 2018 Leasing Summit: Residential, Commercial & Management Essentials). In 2018, members also had the opportunity to learn about planned, approved and ongoing development during NVAR's Commercial and Residential Bus Tour, which highlighted development along the Silver Line Metro corridor.
