Agents should obtain written permission from the property owner(s) before issuing a One Day Code to licensed inspectors. (SentriLock Rule IV(Q)). Prior to issuing a One Day Code, agents should:
- Obtain the agent, broker, inspector, or contractor’s name, phone number and company name and phone number;
- Confirm that the agent, broker, inspector or contractor is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia; and
- Coordinate with the owner or the tenant in advance if the property is occupied.
