Week 1 of the 2020 Virtual NVAR Convention & Trade Show, titled "That's Who We R Week," is designed to remind you of the milestones you have achieved, the challenges you have overcome, and the goals you wish to achieve in the future. This week will take you on a virtual voyage of local, regional, national and international awareness – reminding you that you are not alone in your journey. It will help you Reimagine and Build Your Future to new heights.

- Kick-Off Pre-Event: Alakazoom Magic Show. The virtual version of Digital Deception, a tech-savvy, two-man magic and mentalism act.
- Opening Keynote: Dominique Dawes. Dominique Dawes is an Olympic Gold Medalist, three-time Olympian, entrepreneur, brand ambassador and motivational speaker. She is the only American gymnast to medal at three different Olympic Games in the team competition and the first African-American gymnast to win an individual Olympic medal.
- Politics & Pancakes Breakfast. One of NVAR's most popular events and an in-depth political analysis of the 2020 elections.
