Robert Griffith Culbertson passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at the age of 98 years old. Robert served as the NVAR President of the Board in 1973, and he was also honored as an NVAR Hall of Fame recipient in 1984 and Realtor® of the Year in 1985. He devoted himself to managing, training and teaching, and led various committees at the association before retiring in 1999.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sara Luise, brother Keith and daughter Stacey. His brother Gene, airman with the US Army Air Corps is Missing-In-Action from the Korean War. He is survived by his sister, Carol, children Anne Wennerstrom (Martin), John (Cindy), Greg, and Dreux (Frankie), grandchildren Robert, Clare (Keaton), Davis, Jack, and great-grandchildren Ellie and Lincoln.
Visitation will be Friday, February 1st at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, followed by funeral mass at 11:30.
