Robert (Bob) D. Gering

Bob Gering passed away on December 19, 2017 at the age of 75. He is survived by his brother Bill of Cockeysville, MD. He taught history at the high school level in Fairfax County, later he transitioned into the real estate business as a property appraiser, property manager and Realtor®. He also taught the Principals of Real Estate classes and was on the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® Board of Directors.

He attained the status of Realtor® Emeritus at the National Association of Realtors® in 2010. Bob was a long-time member of the Shillelagh Travel Club, becoming a member in 1968 and leading worldwide tours for the club as a Tour Director.
