Congratulations to Casey Sutherland who has been selected to take a vacant seat on the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR) Board of Directors. Casey’s term will start immediately and run through the end of 2025.

Casey is the principal broker of Rosemont Real Estate and has been an NVAR member for 11 years. His leadership experience is vast, including previously serving on the NVAR Board of Directors 2022-2023. As a graduate of NVAR’s Leadership Institute, Casey is uniquely positioned to understand the needs of the association, the industry, and the membership. Additionally, Casey has been involved with the Small Broker Forum, the Young Professionals Network (YPN), and the Grievance Committee. In 2020, he was among the winners of Realtor® Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Award.

Casey began his real estate career in 2013, working alongside his mother as the Sutherland Partners team. Quickly developing a taste for leadership, Casey served on the office advisory board and as house captain for Rebuilding Together Alexandria — an organization that renovates houses in local neighborhoods for residents in need.

In December 2019, Casey formed his own independent brokerage, Rosemont Real Estate LLC. With family roots in Del Ray, he has forged a successful career path in his neighborhood and pursued professional leadership opportunities.
