NVAR Selected as Partner for NAR REACH Labs

The National Association of Realtors® announced this week the launching of it's REACH Labs program and NVAR is proud to be one of the founding members.

REACH Labs brings the latest; technology, emerging trends and evolving ideas to your business and community. At NVAR we're searching for local startups and new businesses that are solving problems our members face. We want to position Realtors® in Northern Virginia as leaders in innovation, business evolving technology and making transactions easier for clients.

The National Association of Realtors® announced this week the launching of its REACH Labs program and NVAR is proud to be one of the founding members.

"This program helps Realtor® associations engage with the startup community and source innovation for its members more quickly, efficiently and effectively.

REACH Labs are staffed and operated by local associations with support from the REACH scale-up program. Each association can leverage well-established REACH techniques and processes to build relationships with local technology investors, incubators, university programs and entrepreneurs, who all play a vital role in the tech startup ecosystem. Associations present selected startups to their members through quarterly "innovation showcases," which empower attendees to learn about and provide feedback on these new tech solutions."

What is NAR REACH?

What is REACH Labs?

REACH Labs is a local extension of the National Association of REALTORS® REACH program. In 2021, NVAR was chosen by NAR a to develop and pilot a local extension of NAR REACH. REACH labs acts as an opportunity for NVAR to bring national attention to local startups.
What's in it for tech startups?

Tech startups that are selected for REACH Labs get the opportunity to show NAR and its members the value they they provide to the industry.
Why should I scout for REACH Labs?

By representing NVAR as a REACH Labs scout, you will play a key role in the REACH Labs process. You will use your knowledge and experience to bring forward companies that will make a difference to the industry.
What's in it for NVAR Members?

REACH Labs allows for NVAR members to support local business startups, affect change on a national level, and improve the industry as a whole. Learn about new technology in the real estate industry and be on the cutting edge of the business.
I'm not an Official REACH Labs Scout, can I still refer a company?

Absolutely, all NVAR members are encouraged to refer companies that they think fits the REACH Labs program.
