Kevin Nunley:

Currently, Kevin Nunley supports several non-profits in different sectors in the Metro DC area. Ensuring the success of these organizations missions and heightening their impact on the communities that they serve are passions that drive his professional and personal endeavors. 

One of those organizations is The Washington Center for Academic Internships and Seminars, a non-profit educational institution working with over 500 colleges and universities worldwide to bring students into DC for professional experiences that transform their career readiness. At TWC, Kevin serves as the Vice President of Student Affairs.  In this role, he has oversight of the student experience during their time in Washington, DC. This includes the curriculum that guides their transition from theory to practice, their professional development and growth within their internship sites, their experience in our living and learning environment, and more. Additionally, he plays a lead role in The Washington Center's Emergency Protocols and Response team as well as university and partner stewardship. 

For over 10 years, Kevin served as the President of the Board of Directors for Metro DC PFLAG. Metro DC PFLAG’s mission is to keep families together through education, support, and advocacy when members of the family unit experience difficulty or questions relating to sexual orientation or gender identity.  Kevin has performed over 100 different lectures, trainings and presentations for both the federal, corporate, and NGO sectors on topics including unconscious bias, micro-aggressions, the coming out process, sexuality, identity, and expression, combating homophobia and heterosexism, and creating inclusive work environments. Past clients have included Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, the Federal Reserve, Office of Attorney General, USAID, Deloitte, KPMG, Fairfax County Probation Officers, GSX Inc, among others.  Currently, Kevin continues to serve the Board in an advisory capacity.  

In the greater DC community, Kevin serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Thomas Circle Singers and has served as a Peer Group Facilitator for Whitman Walker Health, DC Center Speakers Bureau, former ambassador for the DC Gay Professionals Group, is a member of the DC Center’s Speakers Bureau, and was a founding captain of a kickball team in the Stonewall League. 

Prior to joining TWC, Kevin worked at several colleges and universities in higher education, student affairs, wellness, and teaching with roles in residential life, counseling, wellness, diversity and inclusion.  His academic background includes a MS in Biomedical Science from the Quillen College of Medicine and three BS in Chemistry, Biology, and Pre-Medical Science from Ferrum College.

Brian Woods:

Mr. Brian Woods is a seasoned real estate broker, investor, property manager, community association manager, instructor and speaker. Mr. Woods owns and operates multiple real estate brokerages, a community association management firm, commercial and investment finance company and a real estate school. In 2019, Mr. Woods received the CIPS Instructor of the Year Award (the first award named in honor of The Late David Wyant) from the National Association of Realtors. Also, in 2019, Mr. Woods served as the Florida Realtors Global Business Chairman. As the Global Council Chairman for 2016 and 2017 of the Broward, Palm Beach and St Lucie Realtors, Mr. Woods lead the local association to become the second NAR Diamond Council recipient in 2017. In 2016, Mr. Woods received the Global Realtor of the Year Award from the Broward, Palm Beach and St Lucie Realtors. In 2013, Mr. Woods was awarded the Mid-Size Broker of the Year Award from the third largest local Realtor Association in the US. 

Mr. Woods is passionate about international real estate, working with foreign nationals, investors and other real estate professionals. He believes education is the key to everything. In providing a global real estate business, he believes real estate professionals need to insure they have a clear understanding of anything that potentially impacts their clients. 

Mr. Woods is also focused on other real estate business areas that support international real estate and investors like: • Property Management • Investment Properties and Financing • Legal Aspects of Real Estate • Risk Mitigation and Insurance 

Mr. Woods is an approved National Association of Realtors (NAR) instructor for many courses he is passionate about, including the prestigious Certified International Properties Specialist (CIPS) designation. He is also a member of the Florida Realtor Faculty, frequently educating students in the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) program at the 200 and 300 levels. He has been featured in the NAR Global Perspectives publication, Today’s Buyer’s Rep (the ABR publication), as well as numerous other industry publications. Woods also owns a professional development organization providing custom-created high-quality professional education on relevant topics and industry standard professional certifications.

Lisa Calarco:

Lisa Calarco is the Manager of Global Programs and Outreach for NARs Engagement Team. In this role, her primary focus is helping state and local associations around the U.S. establish and grow global councils to support member’s global business development and the larger communities they serve. Lisa has been with NAR in various roles for 14 years and has spent the last seven years within the global space.
