Preparing for the Unexpected (1 hour)
Most home owners and Realtors® dread the fact that the offer to purchase contains a clause requiring a “satisfactory” home inspection as a condition of purchase. The fear stems from the anticipation that the home inspector will find conditions in the home that could compromise or ruin the deal.
The purpose of this presentation is to make you aware of steps that can be taken to prepare a home for sale and how to set the expectations for their buyers. The presentation will help you understand the anatomy of a home and discuss potential defects and concerns that may arise during a home inspection and how to handle these situations.
