NVAR CARES members and staff recently presented the 2023 Brokerage Spirit Award to RE/MAX Gateway in Chantilly, VA.  RE/MAX Gateway was nominated for this award because they create an environment that encourages opportunities for their Realtors® to have a charitable impact in their community.  The brokerage decided to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network. Heather Embrey, President of NVAR, and Ryan McLaughlin, CEO of NVAR, presented the $1,000 check to Scott MacDonald, Principal Broker of RE/MAX Gateway.   

The donation supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising funds and awareness for 170 hospitals that provide over 30 million treatments each year to children across the nation.   

RE/MAX Gateway has an extensive history of committing to charitable work and community service, and it has become a fundamental part of its culture.  RE/MAX Gateway plans a variety of service opportunities to accommodate all of their agent’s busy schedules. 

The NVAR CARES Committee provides in-person support to charities in Northern Virginia. In addition to the Brokerage Spirit Award, NVAR also presents a Good Neighbor Award.  Check out the NVAR website to learn more about volunteer opportunities!
