Thank you to all NVAR members who participated in the “Around the World Embassy Tour” event on Saturday, May 4. This was a special day, as Embassy Row in Washington, DC was open to the public. Typically, entrance to the embassies requires an appointment or a reservation for a tour. NVAR provided convenient and complimentary bus transportation to and from the event.
The morning kicked off with continental breakfast at NVAR's headquarters, where Realtors® were able to grab their embassy "passport" that enabled them to collect stamps from every embassy they visited. During the tour, many NVAR members received up to seven stamps, but leaders Claudia Flores and Luisa Sipple earned over 20 stamps and were awarded Amazon gift cards.
Highlights included camels that you could find in the Iraq embassy to delicious drinks at the Embassy of Peru. Many attendees left the event with souvenirs in hand and pictures to last a lifetime.
Embassy Row features over 70 diverse locations to visit. They can be found anywhere from the US Naval Observatory to Dupont Circle.
Thank you again for helping NVAR make this year's “Around the World Embassy Tour” a huge success! Visit nvar.com/calendar to register for more upcoming events and classes.
