Public Policy Committee

The mission of the Public Policy Committee is to review, develop and promote policy to guide the association in the legislative and regulatory arenas.

About

The NVAR Public Policy Committee tracks legislative activities at all levels of government and recommends policy positions to the NVAR Board of Directors. Committee members assist in planning special annual legislative events, such as the legislative reception and the trip to the state Capitol, as well as mobilizing grassroots participation in calls-for-action on issues campaigns. Committee members must commit to attending at least nine monthly meetings each year.

NVAR Government Affairs and the Public Policy Committee host various events throughout the year. These events are a fun way to advocate for the industry and networking with peers and elected officials.

Best of all, it is absolutely FREE to NVAR members!  While the event is free, advance registration is required to attend.
