Mission
The mission of the Loudoun Realtor® Forum is to expand NVAR’s reach and relevance in Loudoun County by delivering targeted education, meaningful engagement opportunities, and enhanced professional support for members who live and work in the region. The Forum will serve as a strategic driver for NVAR’s presence at
the new Loudoun Member Experience Center and throughout the broader Loudoun marketplace.
The Loudoun Realtor® Forum is charged with advancing NVAR’s mission and strategic priorities by reimagining the member experience for Loudoun-based professionals. This includes cultivating a dynamic platform for connection, education, and collaboration that reflects the needs of the local marketplace.
Through this work, the Loudoun Forum will help ensure that NVAR continues to “Meet Members Where They R” – delivering value, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of real estate in Loudoun County and beyond.
NVAR recommends comprehensive zoning changes and incentives that facilitate the voluntary market-driven production of a wide range of housing choices at all price levels to suit our diverse population, including encouraging mixed-use development.
It is essential that comprehensive plans provide for the development of owner-occupied housing, to meet existing and forecasted housing demand without unreasonable zoning and land use restrictions that lead to increased costs for housing. Updating zoning ordinances and maps to encourage mixed use with higher residential density in existing commercial areas can provide new home ownership opportunities without affecting existing residential neighborhoods.
