New Firm Application
Complete this form if your brokerage is brand new to NVAR, your firm is adding a new branch, or you are an existing member who has started a brokerage.
Existing Firm Update
If your brokerage has moved locations, or the Principal or Managing Broker has changed, please complete the Existing Firm Update Form.

NVAR Dues Renewal
Dues Billing is open August 1 – September 30 annually. Check your agents’ dues status in your NVAR Broker Portal.
Personal Assistant Resources
NVAR can help Personal Assistants with a limited access SentriLock account. Only available to non-licensed individuals.
Agent Onboarding
New members are required to take our “New Member Launch!” orientation class within 60 days of joining the Association.
Brokerage Transfer Form
If an agent is transferring in or out of your brokerage, please fill out and sign the transfer section of the form below.
Letter of Good Standing
If one of your agents would like to join a different Realtor® association, they will need to request a Letter of Good Standing.

Agent Education
DPOR Requirements
Salespeople within their first year of licensure must complete 30 hours of Post-Licensing (PL) classes. After three years, 16 hours of Virginia Continuing Education (CE) is required. Both PL and CE can be taken complimentary through the NVAR Realtor® School.
Fair Housing Training
Realtors® are required to complete Fair Housing/Anti-Bias Training upon becoming an NAR member, and every three (3) years thereafter, coinciding with the Code of Ethics training timeline. This requirement is in addition to the Code of Ethics training.
Code of Ethics Training
The Code of Ethics sets Realtors® apart from regular licensees. Ensure your agents are providing world-class customer service by staying up to date on their ethical training. Current Realtor® members must complete two and a half (2.5) hours of ethics training every three (3) years.
