In the seven years since NVAR began hosting its annual “Showcase,” this year was the first to include an invitation to NVAR’s 12,000+ members – and the first to be held virtually.

Showcase, short for the “Realtor® Association Showcase of Unique Ideas and Innovative Concepts,” takes place each year during the National Association of Realtors® Mid-year Legislative Meetings in May. In past years, NVAR transports a bus of association executives and volunteers who are visiting the conference in D.C. to NVAR’s Fairfax Headquarters. The attendees, who come from across the country and around the globe, gain an inside-look at initiatives NVAR has developed since the previous year.

Due to COVID-19, NVAR transitioned the event to a virtual format this year – allowing for more collaboration, creativity and engagement with attendees. With 500+ registrants over three sessions on May 14 and May 15, the program was delivered to roughly five times the average number of guests.

As one of the largest regional Realtor® associations in the U.S., NVAR celebrated the opportunity to share information with other associations in a new and exciting way. Showcase 2020 proved to be a proud example of the true impact NVAR and its members have on the industry and the Realtor® profession – both locally and around the world.
