While a Letter of Good Standing is used for transferring from association to association, a Certificate of Licensure is used for individuals wishing to become licensed in another state.
A Certificate of Licensure from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) is a document that verifies an individual or business has met the requirements to legally practice a profession or occupation regulated by the state. Some state have licensing or continuing education reciprocity with each other, meaning agents may have the option to count one or more classes for multiple states’ CE requirements.
