How it works
Who Can Refer
Any current NVAR member in good standing can participate, including Agents, Brokers, Managing Brokers, Committee members, Board of Directors, and volunteer leaders. There’s no limit to how many Realtors® you can refer.
Who You Can Refer
Eligible referrals include Realtors® currently with another association, agents who’ve recently relocated to Northern Virginia, and newly licensed agents who haven’t chosen an association yet.
Before You Submit a Referral
Have a quick conversation with the Realtor® first — let them know why NVAR could be a good fit, and confirm they’re open to hearing more. Once they agree, you’re ready to submit their name.
Submitting a Referral
Fill out our Member Referral Form with your contact details and the prospect’s name. You’ll receive a confirmation right away, and our Membership Team will reach out directly to the prospective new member you referred. You will earn rewards on a quarterly basis.
Rewards
Rewards are earned once your referral’s application is approved and activated on a quarterly basis. Here’s what you can earn:
Agent Rewards
- Two Referrals: $50 Starbucks Gift Card
- Three Referrals: $100 Amazon Gift Card
- Four or More Referrals: Professional Headshot Session
Broker Rewards
- 5 Referrals: INSPIRE27 VIP Champagne Reception
- 7 Referrals: Invitation to Installation
- 10 Referrals: One Complimentary Room Rental, with Meeting Package
