Giving back is at the heart of NVAR Cares. Each year, NVAR members support local charities through volunteer efforts and financial contributions, helping nearly 20 organizations strengthen and serve communities across the region.
To recognize those Realtors® and Brokerage who go above and beyond in their commitment to service, NVAR Cares presents two annual awards: the Brokerage Spirit Award and the Good Neighbor Award.
The Brokerage Spirit Award celebrates a brokerage that fosters a culture of giving by encouraging its Realtors® to get involved and make a difference in their communities. The winning brokerage receives a $1,000 donation to the charitable organization of their choice.
The Good Neighbor Award honors an individual Realtor® whose dedication, leadership, and volunteer efforts have created a meaningful impact on others. Selected by the NVAR Cares Committee, the recipient receives a $1,000 donation to the charitable organization of their choice and is recognized at NVAR’s year-end Installation celebration.
The NVAR Cares Committee is dedicated to making a positive impact throughout Northern Virginia by supporting organizations that provide essential services, housing assistance, and resources to those in need. Through careful research and evaluation, the committee identifies nonprofit partners that align with NVAR’s values and commitment to community service.
