Hosted by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR) in conjunction with the, the NVAR’s 11th Annual Showcase of Unique Ideas and Innovative Concepts brought together association leaders, including CEOs, Presidents, and Realtor® members from across the country and abroad. The event showcased how NVAR delivers value, innovates, and provides meaningful impact to its 13,000 members while creating opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and explore innovative approaches to member engagement. The event bused the association leaders from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) REALTORS® Legislative Meetings to NVAR’s Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia, for an exclusive reception and office tour.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by NVAR staff with a red-carpet experience before being escorted to the Collaboratory for opening remarks from 2026 NVAR President, Rob Carney, and NVAR CEO, Ryan McLaughlin.

Rob and Ryan provided an overview of the Association, organizational priorities, recent innovations, and the program’s agenda, including featured station topics and locations.


Following the welcome presentation, attendees explored NVAR Headquarters through a series of interactive staff-led stations. Each station was hosted by a team member with subject-matter expertise and highlighted a unique program, initiative, or service that contributes to NVAR’s member experience and organizational success. The ideas presented to attendees were intended to be able to scale the initiative to apply it appropriately at their home association.

To further enhance the experience, each station featured refreshments inspired by the Northern Virginia Region. The staff-led stations offered attendees to ability to move at their own pace, revisit stations of interest, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions with staff.








The event ended with appreciation for their participation and a continued commitment to sharing innovative ideas, best practices, and strategies that strengthen associations and enhance service to our respective memberships.
