Petition Information
The Board of Directors represents the entire membership of the Association and encourages participation from all members in volunteer leadership roles, including the Board. Any member seeking to run for the Board
may petition to be included on the ballot by returning a complete Nominating Petition with the signatures of no less than 150 members eligible to vote. In accordance with the
NVAR Bylaws and Section 2.4.B of the NVAR Policies & Procedures Manual, Petitioning Members must request the Nominating Petition from the President’s designated representative.
The petition will be available upon request starting July 22, 2022, and the requisite number of signatures must be obtained and returned to the President’s designated representative no later than August 4, 2022 at 5PM.
Petitioning Members may obtain manual or electronic signatures from members eligible to vote. However, if a Petitioning Member includes any electronic signatures on the Nominating Petition, the Petitioning Member must use the electronic signature
platform provided by the Association. See Section 2.4.B of the NVAR Bylaws and Policies & Procedures Manual for more details about the petition process.
