Honoring Members Within Their First Four Years of NVAR Membership
The NVAR 4 by 4 Award recognizes four members for their significant levels of engagement within the first four years of membership with NVAR. This award allows new members to be rewarded for their involvement with NVAR, adoption of Shop Realtor® competencies, and commitment to Realtor® excellence. Members can apply by logging into your Member Dashboard.
Eligibility Details
Individuals must have been active NVAR members for four years or less to be eligible. Qualifying members are reviewed by the Leadership Development and Awards Advisory Group, which submits recommendations to the NVAR Board of Directors. Approximately four winners are selected by the Board and announced at Installation. Applicants must complete all 16 requirements in the Member Dashboard to be considered.

- Claim FOREWARN®
- Opt-In to texts from NVAR
- Claim your Realtor.com profile
- Attend an NVAR event
- Attend New Member Launch
- Participate in an NVAR Global program
- Attend an NVAR Convention
- Apply for a Committee or NVAR Leadership Opportunity
- Invest at least $15 in NVRPAC
- Complete the NAR Code of Ethics Training
- Vote in the Board of Directors election
- Complete C2EX
- Volunteer in the Northern Virginia Community
- Complete At Home with Diversity, Bias Override, or Fairhaven
- Answer “How has NVAR enriched your career?”

Visit your NVAR Member Dashboard to complete the application! Applications should be completed by November 15 to be considered for that year’s award. Award winners are announced in December at Installation.
