Join NVAR as we host NAR SPIRE mentee candidates and experienced Realtor® members for a NAR SPIRE Open House and Reception.

What is NAR SPIRE?

NAR SPIRE is a groundbreaking new initiative designed and developed to drive inclusivity in the real estate industry. Through NAR SPIRE, students or young professionals with 0-2 years of experience in real estate have the opportunity to be paired with an experienced mentor volunteer to shadow and learn from, with the scheduling and time commitment determined based on the discretion of each pair. The National Association of Realtors® has turned to leading local associations like NVAR to help recruit NAR SPIRE mentor and mentee volunteers. 

Who is invited to the Open House and Reception?

This event is FREE and open to the entire community. We specifically encourage any individuals interested in applying as a mentor or mentee to NAR SPIRE to attend. Please see below to learn more about the activities that will be held at this event. 

There will be food and soft drinks provided. Strictly for individuals aged 21+, we will have happy hour beverages.

Attending this event will give you a better understanding of the NAR SPIRE program, as well as the real estate industry. Meet experienced Realtor®  professionals and association staff in a casual, lively and welcoming environment and take your first steps into the industry.  If you haven't applied already, decide if NAR SPIRE is the program for you.

As an experienced Realtor®, you have the opportunity to share your knowledge and inspire the next generation of Realtors®. Be a leader in a new national initiative and help drive our associations diversity, equity and inclusion goals forward. Enjoy a night of food and drink with your colleagues and community, and expose yourself to new perspectives and ideas. 

What activities will be held during this event?

Intro and Greetings: We will kick off the event shortly after 5 PM with an introduction and greetings from association staff.

Kahoot: After this, we will take part in an interactive and engaging Kahoot activity that showcases the personalities of those participating.

Speed Networking: Following the Kahoot, attendees will take part in a fast-paced and entertaining Speed Networking session, creating relationships between mentee and mentor candidates.

Mentor Panel: We will then welcome a panel of experienced professionals to speak on their careers in real estate, including time for Q&A.

Food and Drink Reception: During all of this, we will host food and drink for your enjoyment.
