NVAR members gathered at the newly renovated Herndon Center for the first ever Evolution Tech Showcase, hosted by the Technology Advisory Group, Products and Services Advisory Group and New Member Advisory Group. This highly anticipated free event presented Realtors® an opportunity to discover new products, network with industry professionals and learn from the top tech companies in real estate.

Divided in two sessions, with lunch provided in-between, attendees were given access and information regarding the most cutting-edge products and services available to Realtors®. 


Sarah Hobbs (ShowingTime) presents on the next generation of ShowingTime.

Steve Anapol, National Speaker and Trainer at Realtor.com, demonstrated how Realtors® can become more efficient when generating and capitalizing on leads. Sarah Hobbs, Senior Customer Success Manager at Showing Time, presented on the next generation of ShowingTime, including a fundamental redesign and re-engineering of the ShowingTime platform. Andrew Sims, National Sales Director at SentriLock, engaged the audience with a first-look at the SentriGuard® lockbox, emphasizing how SentriLock works to elevate Realtor® success. These three speakers were then brought together on stage for the first of two Q&A sessions.

While enjoying lunch, attendees were encouraged to network with the presenters at their own dedicated booths, located on the Trade Show Floor in the Suzanne Granoski room. NVAR Staff also showcased the office space available for NVAR members through R-Work, a free benefit that allows members an opportunity to work in quiet, dedicated office space.  

Courtney Mosely, National Sales Implementation Manager at Punchlist, provided a high-energy overview of Punchlist, a one-stop shop for any repair project. Sommer Yarnall, Manager of Residential Product Training at Homesnap, discussed innovative features such as a map that shows Realtors® which homes are most likely to be listed, offering a head-start when acquiring new clients. Amanda Pflieger, Director of Demand Generation at Curbio, showcased how Curbio can elevate listings by maximizing home value through renovations. Frank Major, Chief Technology Office at Bright MLS, closed the second session with a 2022 Project Vision and Direction presentation, including information on an upcoming Teams Pro launch and more.

The four presenters from the second session gathered on stage for another Q&A session, thoughtfully answering questions from the Realtors®  in attendance.

Moderators Thai Hung Nguyen, Secretary Treasure for the NVAR Board of Directors, and Tonia Jacobson, member of the Technology Advisory Group and Products and Services Advisory group, facilitated conversation with their own questions and insight, bridging a relationship between the audience and the presenters. Karisue Wyson, Chair of the Technology Advisory Group, opened and closed each session, with support from her committee. 


Andrew Sims (SentriLock) navigates the audience through a presentation on SentriLock's latest product enhancements.
