Each year, NVAR partners with the Center for Regional Analysis at George Mason University, to issue a consensus forecast for the region’s housing market.
To develop the regional market forecast, our association convenes a panel of key experts from different sections of the industry, including real estate sales, settlement, finance, and appraisal. This Economic Advisory Group reviews a preliminary forecast that the GMU economists develop based upon statistical patterns and trends, and then we augment those with data driven results based upon our experiences in the field.
