In the past 20 years we have all become dependent on email as a primary means of communication.  Fraudsters and crooks have become much more adept at hacking into accounts and misdirecting funds, or convincing parties to real estate transactions to misdirect either proceeds due the seller, or the down payment coming from the purchaser to an account controlled by the crooks.  Realtors® have a moral obligation to warn their clients, the buyers and sellers, about the risks involved, and to help them be hyper vigilant.
