Multiple Listing Services (MLSs) are private databases that are created, maintained and paid for by real estate professionals to help their clients buy and sell property. Bright MLS is the name of the Multiple Listing Service for Northern Virginia. Bright MLS provides subscribers with access to listing information for a larger geographic area, modern, easy-to-use systems and apps to serve your clients and run your business, and a comprehensive ecosystem of robust property information and analytics.

Bright Off-MLS Policy Resource Guide

UPDATED 4/22/2020: In accordance with NAR's Clear Cooperation Policy 8.0, Bright MLS has updated its guidance on the Office Exclusive Policy. Office Exclusive Listings may not be Publicly Marketed. Any listings that are Publicly Marketed must be entered into the MLS within one (1) business day of Public Marketing. "Public Marketing" specifically means any communication with any real estate agents or members of the public outside of the listing brokerage firm, including one-to-one communications, emails, phone calls, text, social media and online posts.

Are you looking for a place to build your team visibility and brand on listings? Well, look no further than Teams by Bright.

This feature gives you the recognition that you deserve. You can create and manage your team within Bright. Invite the agents and assistants inside your office to join and build your team. Your team will then be recognized on all reports and listings including the Ranking Report.

You can set and review team goals as the Team Lead within the MLS. Although this feature is not currently available, it will be available soon as a premium enhancement for an additional fee.
