On June 8, the Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court issued a statewide moratorium on all eviction hearings through June 28, 2020. His order can be found here. Based on this order, no judge in Virginia will be able to hear an eviction case until June 28th.
Additionally, it was announced today that Governor Northam is developing a “rental relief” program for tenants and landlords. Virginia REALTORS
