About:

Volunteering is one of those things in life we wish we could find time to do more often.  Join the NVAR Cares Committee in a discussion on how easy is to find that extra time to give back.

Sherry Skinner:

Sherry Skinner is the Client Services Manager at Interstate Moving and Storage, Inc. Having been a Realtor in her previous career, she really enjoys being a Move Concierge for Realtors and their clients in the DC Metro. Sherry received the 2019 NVAR Affiliate of the Year Award and has served on NVAR Cares committee since 2019. She feels fortunate to have so many opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community in Northern Virginia.

Casey Menish:

Casey Menish is an agent with Pearson Smith Realty and the current Chair of the NVAR Cares Committee. She has lived in Fairfax County for over 25 years and began her career in real estate after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2013. Outside of work Casey enjoys spending time in her “backyard,” Lake Thoreau in Reston, and volunteering with and fundraising for local non-profits including Wolf Trap Animal Rescue, Moms Demand Action, Wholehearted Foundation, Paradigm Foundation, and the Real Estate Prayer Breakfast.

Clarry Ellis:

Clarry is a Private Mortgage Banker with Wells Fargo and the current Vice-Chair of NVAR Cares.  He was born right here in Northern Virginia at DeWitt Army Community Hospital on Fort Belvoir while his father was stationed at the Pentagon and his mother was teaching in the Alexandria public school system.  He grew up just outside of Cape Charles at the southern end of Virginia’s Eastern Shore on a 350 acre farm in a house built in 1758.

Clarry has a BA from the University of Virginia, an MBA from the College of William and Mary and more years of experience originating mortgages than he cares to recall – seven of those with Wells Fargo.  Clarry currently resides in Falls Church with his reformed Realtor® wife Adrienne, son “Bo” who is a proud Haycock Cougar, two cats and an 11 month old Wheaton Terrier named “Cal” who answers to nothing and nobody.
