The Secrets to Success With Brad Allen & The NVAR Small Broker Forum

08/20/2021

"Selling real estate is a lot different today than it was 2, 5 or 10 years ago. You have to work in the business if you want to really be successful. Long gone are the days of putting a sign out front and an ad in the paper.”

The NVAR Small Broker Forum's event has come and gone, but The Secrets to Success are here to stay. The virtual event was recorded for your viewing and is available  here if anyone missed the year's webinar on August 18, 2021.

Brad Allen, the enchanting guest speaker & Co-Founder of The Art of Real Estate guided us all on an hour-long journey that took us through the mindset, the expertise and the accomplishments that brought him success.

It all starts with the culture, the people you surround yourself with, and the environment that you inhabit. Teamwork is the product of blended cultures that have been brought together for a purpose.

Surrounding yourself with the right people is critical to your success. A team who can work together will lift each other up and forward; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key qualities to look out for.

Blending cultures doesn’t mean finding the same person in a different body. Brad believes, “If you make your culture one flavor, then it’s going to be a hard time for you.”

After a culturally balanced team is formed, then you can start to ask the million-dollar question:

What is your niche? What’s the point? What make you different?”

Brad creates hardworking, motivated, and self-driven teams who find ways to deliver bigger and better results each time.

Why at least 12 deals per year? To Brad’s standards, if you are averaging less than one deal a month, then you are doing something wrong. Setting that benchmark becomes a part of the culture because if you have someone who thinks four deals a year is enough, then that culture and ideology can spread throughout your office. Growing is about overcoming obstacles, not finding new ones.

Brad prefers agents that are all in and are open to new ways of learning and doing business. With heavy training and expenses paid for and provided by the company, all that’s left is putting in the time, work and effort.
