Professional Services Department makes a number of presentations
each year at office sales meeting to discuss issues related to
professionalism, ethics and the responsibilities of REALTORS®.
Last year our staff along with members of the Professional Standards,
Grievance and Arbitration Committees spoke at 30 offices on a
variety of topics including the following: Top
Five Topic Issuses Requested by Offices
- Ethics, Multiple Offers and our Current Market
- What Entitles a Coop Broker to Compensation (Procuring
Cause Explained!)
- What Have We Seen Recently (Complaint Trends against REALTORS®)
- The Ethics of Private Exclusive listings
- General Q&A with the Ethics Staff
We tailor each individual presentation to the specific needs
of the office, the preferences of the Broker and the current
interests of the agents. Sales Managers and Principal Brokers

if they are interested in having a staff and/or committee member
speak at an upcoming meeting. You can request a speaker on any
topic related to professionalism, ethics or the responsiblities
of REALTORS®. In the interests of fairness we do request
that each "office" (not firm but individual offices)
limit themselves to one request per year to ensure that other
offices have an opportunity to schedule a speaker.
Please note that from time to time we also make available special
presentations on topics of immediate interest, such as Mold,
Insurance Availablity, etc. For these presentations we can assist
you by providing contact information for speakers from outside
the association.
