“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” – Benjamin Franklin
No industry is immune to proposals that would have an adverse affect on business. What separates those that succumb from those that thrive is the quality of preventative care prescribed. The Northern Virginia REALTORS® Political Action Committee (NV/RPAC) is your insurance to help elect legislators who will listen to your concerns about the impact of government actions on your industry. NV/RPAC is your bi-partisan voice in politics. NV/RPAC protects the real estate industry from onerous laws and regulations that threaten your business. NV/RPAC will save you countless dollars, making it easier to buy and sell real estate.
A key element of the political process and your involvement is a contribution to NV/RPAC. Your contribution to NV/RPAC helps elect candidates for Congress, the Virginia General Assembly and local offices who will uphold the interests of our profession. These candidates are chosen by fellow Realtors® based on their support for our legislative priorities, not on their political party affiliation.
NV/RPAC funds can be used to support or oppose a particular issue, such as to urge the public to support additional transportation funding.
Read more about how NV/RPAC works for you in our current Campaign Brochure or our PAC Primer, a comprehensive guide to political action committees.
Join thousands of other REALTORS® and contribute to NV/RPAC, your legislative voice. For more information about NV/RPAC, please contact Lisa May at 703.207.3201.
