Laura Maschler, NVAR Rookie of the Year (2007)

Laura Maschler, of Weichert, REALTORS® in McLean, was named the 2006 Rookie of the Year in the NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Club for her outstanding performance in her first 18 months as a REALTOR®.

In 2006, Maschler sold 13 homes for just more than $14.4 million. She worked previously in marketing and public relations, which gave her the skills and tools to succeed in real estate, she said. She also credited a strong support network, including her mother-in-law, who worked in real estate for more than 30 years.

"It's not a one-man show," Maschler said. "Having a supportive family, working with great agents and having a great referral network are what make it all come together."
