The HOPE Awards

Credit issues, homeownership education, lack of affordable housing, language barriers, cultural sensitivities, and access to real estate services are just some of the barriers to minority homeownership. Organizations or individuals helping to eliminate the barriers to minority homeownership may be eligible to win one of seven $10,000 HOPE Awards (Home Ownership Participation for Everyone). The HOPE Awards are given by The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® in the following categories: real estate broker, builder, lender, education program, media coverage, public policy and leadership. Criteria for the awards include effectiveness, innovation, affordability and acceptance by minority communities.

The Good Neighbor Awards

The Good Neighbor Awards are given by The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® to recognize REALTORS® who have made extraordinary commitments to improving the quality of life in their communities.
