NVAR takes your privacy very seriously.
NVAR members, including affiliates, partners, and REALTORS®,
are eligible to purchase the member mailing list. This list
includes name and office address only. No phone numbers. No
e-mail addresses. NVAR does not sell its member list to anyone
who is not a member of NVAR. Some vendors that provide components
of member services (such as Supra) are given member lists for
the sole purpose of fulfilling their contractual obligations.
They are not permitted to use the list for marketing.
Credit card and other financial transactions are secured through
Verisign, an independent service that ensures the confidentiality
of your information. All information sent to this site is encrypted,
protecting against disclosure to third parties.
While NVAR realizes that you want your personal information
protected, you also want potential customers to be able to
find and contact you. The “Find a REALTOR®” search
on nvar.com allows clients to search by office, location, or
name to find a REALTOR® that fits their needs. Consumers are
given contact addresses, phone numbers, and may click a link
to e-mail the member. Steps have been taken to prevent the
NVAR site from being scraped for e-mail addresses.
Pursuant to the three-way agreement between local associations,
state associations, and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION
OF REALTORS®, NVAR is required to serve as a point of entry
for providing information on our REALTOR® members to the Virginia
Association of REALTORS® and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
VAR and NAR have adopted separate and distinct policies that
govern their use of this information once it is passed on from
